How to allow us to migrate your WordPress Website Print

  • 1

With your account at Frankie Dog Hosting, you are entitled to one free migration per each site registered. If you are uncomfortable with performing the export and upload yourself, no problem! Our expert staff have all the necessary tools and experience to perform the migration without any downtime to you!

To preform the migration we will need the following information from you:

  1. Website domain name
  2. Administrator Username
  3. Administrator Password

It is suggested to temporarily create a new administrator account for this purpose, and not to provide existing administrator credentials. This will allow you to remove our access to your website management portal upon a successful migration. If in the event existing administrator credentials are provided, it is highly suggested to change the account username and password for the same reason.

Once the information is recieved from you, we can begin the process of installing our exporter tools and creating a backup of your website.
